The Route We're On
The Cellar Routes Podcast is where wine, wanderlust, and well worn pages meet. Every two weeks we pour a glass, explore new destinations, navigate the visa maze, and get lost in a good book because the best journeys happen with a bottle in hand and a story to tell. Bottles, Books & Boarding Passes: where every episode is a new route worth taking.
Mikaela Santos
Mikaela was raised in a California farming community, where her love for the outdoors and fascination with science first took root. Sparked by her parents' enthusiasm for wine, that passion led her to study horticulture at Texas A&M University, which then took her around the world to work in vineyards and cellars on different continents. That same curiosity for travel and connection has carried into a love for storytelling, a growing stack of books, and the belief that the best conversations happen with a bottle in hand. These days she is just as likely to be talking through a harvest in another hemisphere as she is debating the ending of her latest read.
Milan Rasuli
Milan is a California native who grew up in a small agricultural town where wine was always part of the conversation. Inspired by her mom's love of wine and her own curiosity for science, she studied horticulture at Texas A&M University and dove headfirst into vineyards and fermentation. After harvest stints in both Texas and California, she found her sweet spot blending wine knowledge with a warm, welcoming style. That same curiosity has carried into a love for travel and a habit of always having a book going, with the belief that the best stories are the ones worth pouring a glass over.
